Prior to the Groover Method, I would say there was a lot of "winging it" and "hoping for the best". I never learned correct techniques and skills at the start so developed so very bad (and dangerous) habits!
I always felt 'at risk', so I was always tense, knowing at any moment I could lose control....
Well, I never actually had control.... I know that now! I spent more time on the ground than I did on two wheels! I crashed a lot, hurt myself a lot, and actually thought I was rubbish at Mountain biking!
I desperately wanted to stop crashing and feel in control on the bike and in turn enjoy it more. I’d been looking for a solution for about 4-6 months before I noticed the Groover Method. I decided to give it a go because it wasn't too complicated, didn't cost a lot, and I could work at my own pace.
The Groover Method really highlighted my complete lack of control on the bike and helped me go back and gain that control.... and the confidence I desperately needed! Riding in control and knowing what that truly meant has resulted in far less crashing.
