My name is Nick Woloch and I'm a carpenter from Wollongong. I was a keen BMXer through my teens, then got a hardtail mountain bike 10 years ago, but I didn't really get into mountain biking at the time.
Not until 3 years ago when I bought my first real mountain bike after going for a bush walk and coming across some really nice local trails.
All my mountain bike skills prior to the Groover Method had been self-taught, and it was quite a challenge to improve my skills. I really had no idea if what I was doing was right and I felt like I had come to a stand- still in progressing my skills.
That disappointment and frustration of not being able to progress my skills was the worst part. So, I started looking on YouTube at a few mountain bike skills videos to find a better way.
After about 6 months I felt I had exhausted all the videos on YouTube. I had just run out of options. I wanted something with a bit more structure that I could work through.
